Volvo recollects 59k faulty vehicles


(MENAFN) Volvo Group, the Swedish multinational automobile manufacturing company, will recollect a total 59,000 cars in 40 markets, according on the latest reports.

The main reason for this major reclaim is the faulty software that can temporarily shut down the engine and electric system while driving, thus raising safety concerns.

In more detail, the software issue disturbs Volvo's 60 and 70 series of 2016 year's model, which has a five-cylinder engine, plus most of the faulty cars have been sold locally.

Volvo's core activity is the production, distribution and sale of trucks, buses and construction equipment, and it also supplies marine and industrial drive systems and financial services.
