(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Taking place on March 25 at the Dubai World Trade Center, Dubai Classics presents their biggest ever Spring Gala Concert. Along with the world's greatest performers including Vadim Repin the highly acclaimed violin virtuosos, soloists of the Bolshoi theatre will be accompanied by world renowned Italian Maestro Fabio Mastrangelo and the St. Petersburg Northern Sinfonietta chamber orchestra.
Classical music enthusiasts will thoroughly enjoy the conducting of Maestro Fabio Mastrangelo who is commonly referred to as Russia's most famous Italian born conductor. He currently holds several positions in Russia including Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of the St. Petersburg Camerata State Hermitage orchestra, Artistic Director of the Novosibirsk Camerata, Principal Guest Conductor of the Novosibirsk Symphony Orchestra and a regular guest conductor at the Mariinsky Theatre.
To the delight of guests, Maestro Fabio Mastrangelo brought together some of the finest musicians and winners of various national and international music competitions to form one of the highly acclaimed chamber orchestras in Russian and Europe. Violin prodigy Vadim Repin will start the Gala concert with the performance of the world's greatest pieces by F. Mendelssohn, P. Sarasate, N. Paganini, and many more.
Vadim Repin is a phenomenon in the classical music world and is considered as one the best violin players around the globe. He started to play violin at the age of five and six months later had his first stage performance. The gala concert will also feature the dazzling performance of the soloists of the Bolshoi theatre Anna Aglatova (soprano) and Alexei Neklyudov (tenor). Their concert program includes some of the finest works by Verdi, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Strauss, Rossini, Puccini, Rachmaninoff, Borodin and Rimsky-Korsakov.
