(MENAFN) Lebanon and Egypt will work on increasing their exports to African countries, due to Egypt strong diplomatic relations with the African continent and Lebanon successful businesses.
Accordingly, the two sides will held a conference which plans to increase Egyptian exports of raw construction materials to Lebanon that stood at USD 500mn.
Moreover, at the beginning of this month, Egypt proclaimed an increase in tariff rates on a wide range of imported items to face tough economic conditions.
The collaboration between them will play a great role to grow Lebanese investments in Egypt which stand at USD 4bn and will increase Egyptian investments in Lebanon.
