Ooredoo has been named the official sponsor of the 2016 Qatar Total Open.


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) This is the fourth year running that the company has supported the event as it "continues to promote world-class tennis in Qatar", according to a statement.
As part of the agreement, Ooredoo will provide telecommunication infrastructure at the venue to ensure that media companies from around the world can seamlessly report on the event and visitors can enjoy access to 4G+ services on Ooredoo's Supernet network, the statement notes.
Nasser al-Khelaifi, president of Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF) and chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, said: "The Qatar Total Open is always an ideal way to showcase the sport in Qatar. QTF is pleased to continue its relationship with Ooredoo and their support is of great value to the tournament."

The 2016 Qatar Total Open will feature a host of top players, including world No 2 Angelique Kerber and
others.
The event takes place at Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex from February 21 to 27.
