Kuwait- KRCS distributes aid to Syrian refugees in Lebanon


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KETERMAYA Lebanon Feb 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) continued on Saturday distributing relief supplies to a number of displaced Syrian families in Mount Lebanon as part of the campaign which targets more than 30000 refugees.Head of KRCS Social Committee Fozwia Al-Nassar told KUNA that field teams delivered parcels laden with food and detergents for the Syrian families in Ketermaya town in Al-Kharoub mountainous region located southeast of the Lebanese capital in coordination with the Lebanese Red Cross.For her part Azizah Abul KRCS Member in the Social Committee also made a statement to KUNA affirming the KRCS keenness to continue support for the Syrian refugees in neighboring countries namely Lebanon.Abul praised Kuwait's leadership for supporting humanitarian work including relief efforts exerted in various parts of the world.
