An Obama Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Visits Fort Vancouver

Patty DeDominic a recent recipient of a LifetimeAchievement Award from President Barack Obama to speak at the inaugural Womens Festival Pacific Northwest on March 12 2016 at the historical Fort Vancouver Barracks.

Patty DeDominic was presented the LifetimeAchievement Award from President Obama for her life-long commitment tobuilding a stronger nation through volunteerservice on Oct.16 2015. The Santa Barbara resident has been honored by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO.org) for her work on behalf of economic development and leadership. She was named the Los Angeles Business Journals 2006 CEO of the Year award and serves on several boards of foundations and organizations.

In 2007 DeDominic founded the International Womens Festivals in Santa Barbara California with the mission of celebrating women around the world in conjunction with International Womens Day. Her dream has become a reality with women hosting all over the world: Arizona Cayman Islands Ireland and Shanghai. Toronto and Pacific Northwest events are new as of this year.

Patty and 6 other speakers will be sharing their stories of empowerment at the inaugural Womens Festival Pacific Northwest at the Fort Vancouver Barracks March 12 2016 from 9am-5pm.
