DOHA: Minister of Administrative Development Labour and Social Affairs H E Dr Issa bin Saad Jafali Al Nuaimi yesterday issued a decision appointing heads of departments at the ministry.
The decision follows establishment of the new ministry merging the ministry of administrative development and ministry of labour and social affairs.
There are over 25 heads of departments while some former heads have been appointed as consultants experts and specialists based to their position and expertise. Most department heads have retained their positions.
Ali Al Sada has been appointed as Director of the Minister’s Office. Heads of departments under the office are: Maryam Askar Al Emadi ( internal audit ) Sheikha Nura bint Hamad Al Thani (planning and quality) Mishal Abdul Aziz Al Muslim (legal affairs) Abdul Rahman Al Khamees (public relations and communication) Muslim Al Rashidi (services complex ) and Umair Al Nuaimi (government scholarship).
Heads of departments under the undersecretary of the ministry are: Abdullah Mohammed Al Meraikhi (national human resources)
Sheikh Faisal bin Khalifa Al Thani (human resources acting head of finance and administration) Yusuf Al Muzafffar (IT). Heads of departments under assistant undersecretary for administrative development affairs are: Nasser Khalifa Al Khalifa (wages and salaries) Nura Rashid Al Nuaimi (centre for human resources and information system) Abdul Aziz Hassan Al Ibrahim (policies and human resources planning) and Ibrahim Al Kubaisi (quality and control).
Heads of departments under assistant undersecretary for labour affairs are: Khalid Abdulla Al Ghanim (international labour relations) Fawaz Al Rees (recruitment) Saleh Al Shawi (labour relations) and Mohammed Al Meer (labour inspection).
Head of departments under assistant undersecretary for social affairs are: Ghanim Al Kuwari (social security) Najat Al Abdulla (family affairs) Hamad Abdullah Obaidan (housing) and Aji Al Ajji (private institutions and associations). Heads of departments under director-general of institute of administration: Abdul Aziz Al Mujli (training) Ali Ghanim Al Mohannadi ( training services).
