(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Feb.18 (Petra) -- Warm weather conditions are expected to prevail on Thursday in most parts of the Kingdom while it will be mild in the highlands with high clouds.
At night it will be relatively cold in most regions with northeasterly light winds the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said in its daily brief.
Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail on Friday and temperatures will be above their annual average with clouds at various altitudes. Winds will be southwesterly moderate to brisk blowing dust in the desert areas the JMD added.
The meteorologists said that low clouds will build up Friday night with a chance of drizzles in the northern and central areas of the country.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will range between a high of 24 degrees Celsius and a low of 10 degrees at night in the northern regions 14-24 Celsius while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 32 degrees plunging down to 14 at night.
