Jordan condemns Ankara attack, calls for fighting terror ideologies


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Feb. 18 (Petra) -- Jordan late Wednesday condemned the terrorist attack that struck Turkey's capital Ankara and left scores dead and injured.

Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications Mohammad Momani stressed Jordan's solidarity with the Turkish people and government against blind terrorism.

The minister who is also the government's spokesperson called for combating extremism and dark ideologies which hold no respect for human life or religions reiterating the Kingdom's rejection of all forms and manifestations of terrorism.

Momani extended his condolences to the Turkish government and people and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
