Saudi airports record 81.9 million travelers in 2015


(MENAFN) General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) declared that's, the number of travelers through Saudi Arabia's airports increased by 9.5 percent to 81.9 million in 2015 compared to 2014.

Those travelers served 646,693 flights in 2015, increasing 9.8 percent over 2014 (74.8 million travelers occupied 589.216 flights) GACA added.
Approximately, 13.5mn travelers went to 23 regional and domestic airports, with 128,041 flights having been boarded.

GACA is working hard to improve the wide country's airport network to keep up with its speedy economic growth, reflected in the rapidly growing request for air travel across the Kingdom.
