Amman Interpol office hands over Arab wanted suspects receives one


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Feb.17 (Petra) -- Interpol's office in Amman extradited this week three Arab suspects to Egypt Bahrain and Lebanon who are wanted internationally in separate cases according to a Public Security Department (PSD) statement released Wednesday.

The first suspect was handed over to an Egyptian security delegation after being required to the country's judiciary authorities following a search warrant issued by the Investigation and Criminal Evidence Administration of the Council of Arab Ministers of Interior.

In a separate case a Bahraini citizen who committed a number of crimes was turned over to his country's authorities through Queen Alia International Airport. Another Syrian citizen accused of writing a 80.000 unauthorized cheque was turned over to the Lebanese authorities after completing necessary legal procedures.

Interpol's office in Amman also stated it received a Jordanian citizen from the Bahraini authorities who was required to appear before Irbid prosecutor general for writing unauthorized check . Another Jordanian citizen who is required to the Qatari authorities for writing a(QAR) 250.000 unauthorized cheque was referred to local judicial authorities.
