Oman- Dar al Atta'a Treasure Hunt raises RO12500

Dar al Atta'a has raised RO12500 from its fourth annual Treasure Hunt held at Shangri-La's Barr al Jissah Resort & Spa on Saturday.

Fourteen teams from 11 private and public sector companies participated in the hunt a press release stated.

The funds raised from the event will be used to furnish around ten houses that are maintained under the charitable association's My Home My Shelter programme.

Teams of five members each embarked on a brain storming and physical quest that eventually led them to the treasure in an entertaining yet competitive way the release said. The event builds communication skills and gives personnel the opportunity to boost team ethics outside their workplaces.

Teams from Al Khonji Group Shell Oman Marketing Company Enhance Daleel Petroleum PwC Omantel Shangri-La's Barr al Jissah Resort & Spa Aster Hospital be'ah Saraya Bandar Jissah and Gulf Energy participated in the treasure hunt. Shell Oman Marketing won the event.

Maryam al Zadjali chairperson of Dar al Atta'a stated in the release 'The association successfully managed to carry out maintenance of 75 houses in 2015 with the Almighty's blessings. This event will offer financial support for providing much-needed furniture to a number of houses.'
