Oman- The Yellow Chilli's second outlet opens at Panorama Mall

The Yellow Chilli a chain of casual dining restaurants by celebrity Indian chef Sanjeev Kapoor opened its second outlet in Muscat at the Panorama Mall.

The restaurant chain has been set up in the sultanate in association with Mazaya Oman.

The new outlet was inaugurated by H E Indra Mani Pandey India's Ambassador to Oman on Monday.

It offers spacious indoor seating for 75 people with an additional exquisite private dining area to host private and corporate parties.

Manoj Radi its executive chef trained under Master Chef Kapoor in India before helming The Yellow Chilli's outlet at Al Mouj. He now heads both the restaurants in Muscat.

'We are very excited to have The Yellow Chilli as part of building and growing our food and beverage presence in Muscat. The success of our first outlet at Al Mouj and the extensive experience garnered in the professional services and food service industry has been critical to building and maintaining our success' said Tirthankar Basu business head Mazaya Oman the parent company that introduced the brand in the sultanate last year.

The Yellow Chilli at Al Mouj has made it to the list of finalists in the Oman Restaurant Awards' 'newcomer' category.

'Not only are we well-positioned to take advantage of the current consumer trends but we may actually be responsible for the increased emphasis on the Indian dining experience in Oman' said Basu.

In a televised recording at Monday's launch Master Chef Kapoor said 'I am so happy that this new outlet at Panorama Mall is guaranteed to create the same kind of wave that the first one did.

'It is Indian food that gives us comfort it is Indian food that you love it is Indian food we prepare with a lot of tender love and care. Mazaya group and its great team have created with lot of hard work the success that The Wave outlet has seen. I am sure this outlet also will see similar success.'

In the Middle East The Yellow Chilli has presence in Dubai Doha Bahrain and Amman.
