UAE- Sharjah Arab Children Forum begins in March

SHARJAH 16th February 2016 (WAM) -- The 12th edition of the Sharjah Arab Children Forum SCAF is set to take place in Sharjah from March 26th to April 3rd under the slogan "Hear us - we are the future".

The event is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi Wife of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and is welcoming participation from selected children arriving from different countries across the Arab world.

The forum is aimed to empower Arab children and focuses on the social and developmental hurdles that children in Middle-East and North-African countries face. Through activities workshops and seminars SACF will highlight the importance of Arab children who will play a significant role in creating the future of our world and will feature programmes that reiterate this message to all the Arab children participating in the forum.

It will also spread awareness on of the importance of promoting a peaceful source of education for children and how to provide world-class education through the right facilities and services in order to nurture their skills and abilities.

The forum will also promote the importance of knowledge and cultural exchange in developing children as well as highlight the UAE's efforts in empowering Arab children in the region. There will an opportunity for all the children to interact with others from different Arab countries and help them walk away with a memorable experience.

The Sharjah Arab Children Forum is an initiative of the General Department of the Sharjah Children's Centre overseen by Sheikha Jawaher Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.
