UAE- RAK Ruler attends funeral prayer for martyr Al Shamsi

His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah has performed the funeral prayer on the body of martyr Abdullah Juma Hassan Al Shamsi at the Grand Mosque in Ras Al Khaimah.

Al Shamsi was killed while performing his national duty as part of Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen. Shaikh Saud offered his condolences to the family of Al Shamsi.

Shaikhs senior officials tribal chiefs dignitaries army officers and personnel and a crowd of Emirati citizens and residents were present at the funeral prayers.

Shamsi was 21 year old and married for two months.Hailing from Al Shaam Ras Al Khaimah he joined second batch of UAE ground force sent to Yemen in 2012. He is survived by 12 brothers.
