Morocco's Net International Reserves Rise by 26 as of February 5


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat – Morocco's net international reserves amounted to MAD 230.8 billion until February 5th 2016 recording a 26 percent increase on an annual basis Bank Al-Maghrib said.The reserves recorded a 0.6 percent weekly increase the central bank pointed out in its weekly indicators.

During the week of February 4-10 2016 the central bank injected MAD 13 billion.

Over the course of this period the interbank rate remained unchanged at 2.5 percent and the average exchanged volume fell to MAD 2.2 billion against MAD 5.3 billion one week before.

During the same period the dirham depreciated by 0.93 percent against the euro and appreciated by 1.49 pc against the dollar.
