Qatar- HE Minister of Justice to Inaugurate Interfaith Dialogue Conference


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha February 14 (QNA) - HE Minister of Justice Dr. Hassan bin Lahdan Al Muhannadi will inaugurate after tomorrow Wednesday the 12th Doha conference of Interfaith Dialogue 2016.
This year's conference will see around 500 personalities from inside and outside the State of Qatar participate. It will be under the slogan of "Spiritual and Intellectual Safety in the Light of Religious Doctrines." The conference will conclude on February 17.
There will be four main panel discussions this year. The first is entitled "Religion and its Role in Spiritual and Intellectual Security." It will discuss how intellectual security can enhance human values and principles as well as creating a sense of belonging.
The second panel is entitled "Destabilization of Moral and Intellectual Security." It will discuss whether there is any religious or ideological context that can act as a background to violence.
The third panel discussion is entitled "Protecting Youth from Intellectual and Moral Violation and Cultural Alienation." The panelists discuss how to protect youth from spiritual and intellectual propaganda in the age of globalization.
The final panel discussion is entitled "Strategies for Protecting Spiritual and Intellectual Freedom and Security: Future Expectations." It explores the role of state institutions and other organizations in establishing religious moral and cultural values in minds and hearts of young people. (QNA)
