Qatar- Josoor and QU to organise two workshops

Doha: Josoor Institute a centre of excellence for the sport and events industries inspired and developed by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy has ongoing registration for two professional development workshops being delivered in partnership with Qatar University (QU).

The first ‘Marketing and PR for Sport and Major Events’ will be held from February 29 until March 1 March to examine the role of marketing and Public Relations in building the success of the sport and events industries in Qatar and the Middle East and North Africa region.

It will focus on emerging trends challenges and opportunities faced by professionals working in sport PR and marketing and is presented from marketing and PR industry perspectives.

The second ‘Creating High Performance Sports Organisations’ will be held on March 2 and 3. It is developed around the themes of organisational effectiveness change and innovation and will train professionals working for sport organisations to face the rapidly changing and competitive sport environment and increase the performance of their organisations by embracing innovation.

Both workshops are a learning opportunity and a major career development step tailored to address challenges in the local and regional context.
