Petra Kvitova will have a second title in her sights when she competes next week in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

The 2013 Dubai champion enjoyed yet another successful season in 2015 although it was interrupted by a period in which she made the decision to take a break from the game due to exhaustion. That came shortly after her third round loss in Dubai and meant she missed the events at Indian Wells and Miami but she was soon able to bounce back to her usual winning ways.

Having already won the Sydney title she went on to also win in Madrid and New Haven and with a semifinal in Shenzhen and three quarter-finals including the US Open she qualified for the WTA Finals in Singapore. Not only did she qualify for the elite eight-player event but she went all the way to the final before falling to Agnieszka Radwanska. Then to round off a satisfying season she played a part in the Czech Republic defeating Russia to claim the Fed Cup trophy.

As well as being a champion in Dubai Kvitova has twice lifted the winner's trophy at the All England club. Her first Wimbledon victory came in 2011 and she followed up with another run to the title in 2014. So what happens to a Wimbledon champion when the match is over the photos have been taken and the media have finished asking their questions?

"On Sunday I had a fun day shopping in London and bought myself some earrings as a special present and then it was time to get ready for the Wimbledon ball" she said. "They bring in a stylist and the dressing room downstairs at the All England Club is full of dresses to choose from. I picked a classic black and white ball gown and then had my hair and make-up done. It was so much fun to have a girly day.
