Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives Secretary General of International Telecommunication Union


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Yamamah palace here today the Secretary General of International Telecommunication Union Houlin Zhao.

At the outset of the reception, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques received the Award of Information Technology and Communication in Sustainable Development, marking the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Union, in recognition of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the leading role being played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Union, and its efforts being exerted in the field of technology and communications.
Then, the existing cooperation between the Kingdom and the Union was reviewed.

The audience was attended by Minister of State and Cabinet's Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Suwayel; Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani and Director of Arab Regional Office at the International Telecommunication Union Engineer Ibrahim Al-Haddad.
