UAE- Al Qasba bids goodbye to Turkish Nights

SHARJAH 13th February 2016 (WAM) -- Al Qasba Turkish Nights wrapped up its activities in Al Qasba yesterday. The ten-day event turned Al Qasba's walkways into a Turkish Bazaar scattered with kiosks selling Turkish goods beverages and souvenirs and receiving a massive turnout from both families and individuals.

The Turkish nights were held for the first time in Sharjah and helped promote Al Qasba as a premiere leisure and tourist destination.

Sultan Mohammed Shattaf Al Qasba Manager said "Hosting Al Qasba Turkish Nights was one of the annual events held by us to promote Al Qasba as a regional and international tourist destination. The bazaar had everything from traditional Turkish food to coffee to souvenirs."

He also said Al Qasba will continue to host such events and activities to attract local regional and international tourists. Shattaf added "Such events are an investment and part of a strategy to develop the emirate of Sharjah. We want to develop Al Qasba so that it meets the needs of every tourist and visitor who comes here and also has fun along the way."

The event attracted many individuals to Al Qasba and introduced them to all that it has to offer including restaurants and tourist attractions.
