BMW's sales jumps 7.5pct in Jan


(MENAFN) BMW Group, the giant German luxury automobile, motorcycle, and engine manufacturing company, sold a total of 152,879 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce cars in January, based on reports.

In accordance, the posted figures reflect a noteworthy 7.5 percent growth in sales y-o-y not to mention reaching a new sales record, in spite of many markets showing an ongoing volatility.

In more detail, deliveries of BMW and MINI vehicles in Asia rose by 9.8 percent 59,522 compared with 2014's January, where in Chinese mainland alone, a total of 43,441 vehicles were delivered.

The Munich-based carmaker sold nearly 2.25 million cars and almost 137,000 motorcycles worldwide throughout the previous year, and it's expected for it to continue the positive trend in 2016.
