Qatar- Kuwaiti FM Meets UN Coordinator for Middle East Peace Process

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kuwait February 10 (QNA) - Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met with the visiting UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Nikolay Mladenov.
They discussed during the meeting various issues related to the stalled Middle East peace process and topics on the regional and international arenas.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled affirmed during the meeting necessity that Israel halt its escalating aggression on the occupied Palestinian territories as well as its adherence to various UN resolutions on the Palestinian question said the official KUNA news agency adding that he hoped the Middle East witnesses just and comprehensive peace; "such peace cannot be attained without establishing an independent Palestinian state with Holy Jerusalem as its capital."
