(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Tunis February 10 (QNA) - Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi met Wednesday with the President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz who is currently visiting Tunisia.
Talks during the meeting focused on security situation in Tunisia in light of the current regional developments.
Speaking at a press conference held here today Schulz said that their talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations and ways to boost economy towards growth and reducing unemployment.
Schulz said the European Union hopes in spite of the deteriorating situation in Libya to reach to a peaceful settlement to the crisis. (QNA)
