Jason Womack Builds Momentum for New Book on Pro Business Insights

Productivity expert Jason Womack was interviewed on Pro Business Insights where he discussed obstacles which prevent people from achieving more and provided insights from his upcoming book "Get Momentum" which will be released May 2.

February 10 2016 - When thinking about momentum Benjamin Franklin was quoted as saying “Never confuse motion with action.” Author and productivity expert Jason Womack couldn't agree more. In place of “just doing something” his upcoming book “ Get Momentum: How to Start When You're Stuck ” provides a powerful and personalized process to help readers improve their lives and advance their careers.



Womack was recently profiled for the online interview forum Pro Business Insights by Stewart Andrew Alexander. Their discussion focused on what it means to get and build momentum. When asked about obstacles that prevent people from achieving a desired outcome such as being a better leader working smarter thinking bigger or achieving more Womack said the main problem is they think simply doing more is progress.


The problem is that people often go about trying to initiate momentum by studying harder working longer or creating a frenzy of activity. Without an organized approach though these efforts can often contribute to failure instead of the desired success. Womack says that momentum is not something that just happens; it is something that can be initiated and achieved.


Womack told Alexander that his book is based on the curriculum from his twelve month online Get Momentum Leadership Academy. The first step for leaders workers and others who want to get moving in a different direction he revealed is to admit that they have to change themselves in order to effect change in the workplace or their everyday environment.


“I was happy to share my insights on Pro Business Insights and in my upcoming book” said Womack. “I've become known as a productivity expert but what I really am is a momentum initiator. There is absolutely no reason to be stuck in your current circumstance when there is a process that can get the ball rolling and keep it moving towards success.”


Some momentum-building tips he shared in the interview included purge and unsubscribe block your time and prioritize and what we think about is what we do. Albert Einstein himself would have appreciated Womack's emphasis on the importance of building momentum properly when he said “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over and over again but expecting a different result.”


The hardcover version of Get Momentum will be released May 2 2016 but is available for pre-order now on Amazon.com.
