Kingdom and Tunisia agree to hold joint workshops on spreading moderation


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The second meeting of the Coordinating and Follow-up Committee to implement of the executive program of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Tunisia in the field of Islamic Affairs and Endowments has been held in the presence of Tunisian Minister of Religious Affairs, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance for Islamic Affairs, Abdulrahman bin Ghannam Al-Ghannam.

The Director General for External Relations at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Abdulmajeed Al-Omari said the two sides agreed to hold two joint workshops between the two sides in the dissemination of moderation and rejection of extremism, the first to be held in Riyadh in 2016 and the second to be held in Tunisia in 2017.
