UAE- MoH Under Secretary meets Belgian ambassador to discuss cooperation in health sector

ABU DHABI 10th February 2016 (WAM) -- Dr. Mohamed Salim Al Olama Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Health MoH has met with Dominique Mineur Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the UAE to discuss joint cooperation in the health field such as through experience exchanges to promote health services and policies expertise and medical education between the two countries.

During the meeting which was held at the MoH headquarters in Abu Dhabi the two sides reviewed ways of strengthening health relations between the UAE and Belgium and their collaboration through educational institutions research centres medical laboratories and so on.

They also discussed ways to facilitate UAE nationals travelling abroad for treatment by providing them with access to the best hospitals and clinics in Belgium.

Dr. Al Olama said that the meeting comes within the ministry's framework to gain international experience develop the health system in the country enhance the efficiency of health workers and improve the level of customer service provided in the sector.
