UAE Colombia Businessmen Forum begins its meeting today

BOGOTA 10th February 2016 (WAM) -- UAE-Colombia Businessmen Forum began today with the cooperation of Colombian Export Promotion Bureau to coincide with the first meeting of the UAE-Colombia Joint Committee.

The forum aims to increase the level of trade exchange between the UAE and Colombia in order to achieve the aspirations of the leadership of the two countries through urging the businessmen of both sides to participate in the activation of this relationship due to achieve the interest of both sides.

The event was attended by Khalid Ghanem Al Ghaith Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs and Mohammed Issa Alqattam Zaabi UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Colombia Humaid Mohamed Ben Salem Secretary-General of the Federation of UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry Fahad Obaid Al Taffaq Director of Economic Affairs and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a number of senior officials and businessmen from the two countries.
