India discusses policies to alleviate business barriers


(MENAFN) India is considering new initiatives in an effort to create an easier and hassle-free business environment, and to attract new foreign investors from around the globe, with a focus on those from the UAE, to the nation.

Some of the discussions include ideas such as implementing policies allowing businesses to remain open 24/7, mobile apps for registering new start-ups, as well as providing visas to external investors on arrival.

"The industrial set up, the government and the people are constantly thinking of innovating ideas and making it easier to do business in India," the Ambassador reported.
