(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, Rabi'II 28, 1437, February 07, 2016, SPA - After having tightening its grip over Ghailama region, located in Mahali valley, the Yemeni army, assisted by the popular resistance, is advancing towards capital, Sanaa, officers said today. In a statement to the state-run Yemen's News Agency, a military source said the army and the popular resistance have aborted a counter-attack by the Houthi militias to restore Masoura region which has fallen to them yesterday following fierce battles during which a rebel leader in addition to a number of soldiers were killed. -SPA 00:17 LOCAL TIME 21:17 GMT
