(MENAFN) Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Co. (MPHC), a subsidiary of Qatar Petroleum and one of the local's premier petrochemical conglomerates, logged a net income of USD 0.30bn for 2015.
Furthermore, whole income for the year, involving the tax refund was USD 0.30bn, a drop of USD 193.94mn, or 39 percent, versus the same period of 2014.
In addition, the firm's income reflects a fall of USD 0.19bn, or 39.5 percent, over the same period a year earlier, whereas the 4th quarter earnings of USD 82.5mn were down by 21.5 Pct.
However, the decrease was because of drop in selling prices and sales volumes, and the group's revenue was also supported by recognition of a tax refund of USD 27.46mn for the year.
