Scott will however be available for the smooth transition of responsibilities to the new incumbent AHEC said in its filing with the Muscat Securities Market on Sunday.

Scott who is an electrical engineer and fellow member of the Institute of Engineering Technology was appointed CEO in February 2015. Prior to joining AHEC he was with Kellog Brown & Root as vice president of its downstream business unit for Europe Africa and the Middle East.
