Apple under heavy fire amid iPhones' Error 53

(MENAFN) Apple's recent Error 53 has been bubbling away for months, but received wider recognition this week with The Guardian's Miles Brignal clarifying the issue, thus receiving wide attention.

This error has actually led the beloved tech-giant to bricking thousands of iPhones through the iOS upgrade process, and it only appears when the latest version of Apple's iPhone software, iOS 9, is installed.

In more detail, the issue basically seems to impact handsets where the home button, which has touch ID fingerprint recognition built-in, has been repaired by a "non-official" company or individual.

Furthermore, the world's largest IT firm by income is accused of knowing all about the problem, yet doing absolutely nothing to warn users that their phone will be bricked, if they go ahead and install the iOS update.
