Kuwait to support Public-Private Partnership Projects

(MENAFN) The Government of Kuwait has made a program to promote cooperation between the public and private sectors in order to develop the infrastructure of the country.

In order to attain this goal, Kuwait introduced "New PPP Law" to offer a clear regulatory framework for the improvement of public-private partnership projects.

Additionally, the New PPP Law was vital to accommodate the PPP program and to codify some of the methods applied in the Az-Zour North Independent Water Project.

Starting PPP projects in the nation will be the responsibility of the Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP), which will be seen as the main driver of the project process.
