His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai attended the race and commented: "It's good to see Frosted winning this race in great style but with more stringer horses coming from US and elsewhere on the Dubai World Cup night the competition is going to be harder. Frosted will improve on his present form and I would like to welcome trainer Kiaran McLaughlin back home."

The four-year-old son of Tapit has apparently relished the dirt surface at Meydan to win hands and heels while setting a new track record of 1:56:67 seconds under Wiliam Buick who said: "Froste is easy to ride and he will definitely improve over this run before the World Cup."

Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin was excited and added: "It's a great run after three months layoff. It is premature to talk about his new target and we need to see how he will come out of the race and talk to the boss before taking further action."
