Qatar- Soyebo makes no mistakes as Al Arabi hammer Al Ahli

DOHA: It was Al Arabi all the way. Soyebo Temi Narcellius produced a tally of 34 points as Al Arabi hammered Al Ahli 113-78 in their Qatar Basketball League (QBL) game yesterday.

Soyebo also managed 8 assists as Al Arabi completely dominated the game played at Al Gharafa Indoor Hall.

O’Brien Todd Edward scored 29 points and had 3 assists to help Al Arabi pick up an easy win.

Al-Nasr Khalid Masoud (14) and Matalqah Osama Adel Mohamed (13) also well played. For Al Ahli Joyner Jr. Terrence Lavalle scored 25 points while team mate Seydou Ndoye Elhadj managed a tally of 20 points.

Elsadiq Mustafa was the other Al Ahli player to reach double figures. Mustafa scored 15 points.

Once Soyebo and Edward hit their range Al Arabi remained in the lead throughout the four quarters of the lop-sided game.

In a low-scoring clash Al Gharafa beat Al Sadd 57-41. Galloway Kevin Dwayne scored 14 points for Al Gharafa besides managing 5 assists.

Saad Abdulrahman Mohamed scored 12 points while Ndoye Hassino produced a tally of 10 points. Muslic Nedim Adako Emmanuel Osaro and Salem Omar Abdelkader all scored 7 points each.

For Al Sadd Kone Mohamed Deba (12) and Abdi Khalid Suliman (10) were the only two players to reach double figures.

Raffa Anthony (8) and Saeed Erfan Ali (6) were the othe notable scorers for Al Sadd.
