Iran, Pakistan pursue aspiring joint ventures

(MENAFN) Both Iran and Pakistan realize the great potential that lies ahead in terms of boosting and nurturing their trade ties, thus they're carefully studying all areas to launch joint ventures in the near future.

Additionally, Iran and Pakistan not only have common border but also share a glorious history, hence Iran is fully prepared to start exchanging trade with Pakistan to boost and enhance the volume of two-way trade.

There's already a mutual project which is the IP gas pipeline designed to help Pakistan overcome its rising energy needs at a time when the country of over 180m people is struggling with serious energy shortages.

The last building phase of the pipeline was inducted in 2013, not to mention that Iran has already built 900km of the pipeline on its soil, but Pakistan has fallen short of assembling the 700km section of the pipeline on its land.
