Jordan- Israeli forces arrest 3847 Palestinians since Al Quds Intifada


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Gaza Feb.4 (Petra) -- The number of Palestinians in Israeli jails since the outbreak of the "Al-Quds Intifada" until last January stood at 3847 according to a Palestinian source.

A statement by Head of Studies and Documentation Unit at the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-detainees Abdul Nasser Farwaneh said that children were deliberately targeted by Israeli soldiers with around 1631 Palestinian kids being arrested last year during Al-Quds Intifada .

The Palestinian official called on international human rights organizations to pay more attention to the Palestinian prisoners and detainees behind Israeli bars .
