(MENAFN) Lafarge Jordan plans to turn its dusty site of 1,880 dunums for cement production in Fuheis to become "environment-friendly urban hub."
Accordingly, the project will be a whole clean energy city that would involve shopping malls, residential and commercial properties, medical facilities and others.
In addition, the project will surpass USD 2.81bn when it's done, indicating that the Co. sent an official letter to the Investment Commission in Oct 2015 to tell them about the plan.
"If we obtain the government's approval for this development project, economic returns for the country and the area would be double," said Lafarge Jordan CEO.
