Oman- H E Alawi meets Czech Russian foreign ministers

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat-

H E Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs received at the General Diwan of the ministry on Tuesday Lubomir Zaoralek Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and his accompanying delegation currently visiting the sultanate.

The two sides discussed existing cooperation in various fields and means of enhancing them to serve the joint interests of both countries.

They also reviewed various regional and international issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by Said bin Nasser al Harthy head of the East Europe Department and officials in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) while it was attended from the Czech side by H E Jiri Slavik Non-Resident Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the sultanate.

Meanwhile Sergey Lavrov Foreign Minister of Russia arrived on Tuesday evening on an official two-day visit to the sultanate.

He was received by H E Alawi H H Sayyid Mohammed bin Salim al Said head of Protocols Department in MoFA and Said bin Nasser al Harthy head of the East Europe Department in MoFA.
