Kosovo and Bulgaria toward establishing bilateral relations


(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) Minister for Dialogue at the government of Kosovo Edita Tahiri has been received in a meeting by the Foreign Minister of Bulgaria Daniel Mitov with which she has talked about strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries for the Euro Atlantic integration of Kosovo and regional cooperation.

In this meeting minister Tahiri praised the relations between Kosovo and Bulgaria and expressed the readiness of the government that she is part of to further strengthen them.

Tahiri said that Kosovo and Bulgaria have a joint Euro Atlantic vision and briefed him on the progress made by Kosovo and the reforms that the government of Kosovo is undertaking.

On his part Foreign Minister Mitov said that Bulgaria is closely following Kosovo’s progress especially the steps that have been taken in the framework of European integration.

He said that Bulgaria will continue to back Kosovo in meeting its objectives for a successful and integrated state in the Euro Atlantic community.

Minister Mitov said that Bulgaria will continue to strengthen relations with Kosovo and praised Kosovo’s commitment in domains such as the rule of law and economic development by saying that Bulgaria is ready to offer its experience for these domains.

During her stay in Sofia Bulgaria minister Edita Tahiri will also hold meetings with other Bulgarian officials and will participate in the meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Southeast Europe Cooperation Process.
