2 women held for spate of burglaries

The Sharjah Police have arrested two Lebanese women for stealing items worth Dh 400 000 from different houses.

According to a police source tenants of various buildings registered complaints with the police that somebody entered their houses after breaking the doors open.

The police received various robbery notifications from people whose homes were stolen. After arrest all the stolen items were returned back to their owners.

The arrest was made by the Sharjah Police forensic laboratory following various robbery notifications received by the police from tenants of various flats. There were complaints that the doors of their flats were broken in their absences and stole items like money jewellery and mobile phones.
