(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Traffic to all directions through Jerayan Nejaima Intersection, near the College of North Atlantic Qatar has been resumed, according to an Ashghal statement.
However, some pavement and utilities installation works are still underway on the roads leading to the intersection, it said while hoping that the opening of the intersection will contribute to easing the movement of traffic to and from the nearby educational institutions, given the usual congestion at peak hours.
The opening of Jerayan Nejaima Intersection is part of a project to develop roads surrounding residential and other compounds in the Al Duhail area. It is being done as part of Ashghal's efforts to enhance the traffic flow and ease the congestion across the country by converting a number of roundabouts into signal-controlled intersections.
