Arab Monetary Fund issues its economic report

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) issued the 35th version of "Unified Arab Economic Report" for 2015, which dealt with economic developments in Arab countries.

The report is an example of fruitful cooperation between the joint Arab action institutions, where the General Secretariat of the Arab League participated in its preparation along with Arab Fund for Economic and the Social Development, Arab Monetary Fund and the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC).

The Fund explained that the limited recovery of the economies of the Euro did not help the recovery of demand for a number of oil-importing Arab countries' exports, noting that as a result of these developments, the Arab countries recorded a decline in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at constant prices growth rate from 3.6% in 2013 to about 2.5% in 2014.
