More than 50 people killed in Syria attacks- source


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN Jan 31 (KUNA) -- The death toll of three bomb attacks against Sayyidah Zaynab area outside Damascus has exceeded 50 people with 110 others wounded many of them seriously an interior ministry source said.Suicide bombers driving a booby-trapped car hit a passenger bus which was followed by two attacks by two suicide bombers who detonated their explosive-laden belts when people gathered to rescue the people from the first attack the source was quoted by the official SANA news agency as saying.So-called Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for the attacks which coincided with UN-sponsored talks held between the Syrian regime and opposition in Geneva.
