Forty Jordanian companies sign contracts on the sidelines of Khartoum Exhibition


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Irbid Jan.31 (Petra)--More than 40 Jordanian companies signed contracts to market their products on the sidelines of the International Khartoum Exhibition which concluded in the Sudanese capital Khartoum on Friday.

Head of the Jordanian delegation to the exhibition and member of the Jordan Chamber of Industry Muwafaq Bani Hani said in a press statement following his return from Khartoum that the Jordanian pavilion attracted many visitors that was culminated in the signing a number of trade exchange agreements. The Jordanian companies showcased industrial food pharmaceutical leather and plastic products while private hospitals showcased their health and medical services.

Bani Hani added that the Jordanian delegation met with Sudanese Vice-President Bakri Hassan Saleh and discussed with him means to forge closer economic cooperation between the two countries.

The delegation also met with Former Tunisian Prime Minister Hamdi Al Jabali and reviewed with his ways of boosting joint cooperation in the interest of the two countries' economies.
