Qatar- Lebanese Parliament Speaker Meets Iraqi Foreign Minister

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Beirut January 31 (QNA) - Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri has met Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al Jaafari who is currently visiting Lebanon.
Both parties discussed latest developments in the two countries and issues of mutual concerns on both domestic and international arenas Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) said.
"We shared similar views on the need to spare the region any of the tension hotbeds which reflect on various countries of the world at large" the NNA quoted Al Jaafari as saying after his meeting with Berri.
Lebanese presidency has been vacant since May 2014 as political forces failed to agree on the president. (QNA)
