Qatar- 7 ISIS Suspects Arrested in Southern Turkey


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ankara January 31 (QNA) - Turkish security forces arrested seven foreigners Kahramanmaras province southern Turkey during a security operation on Saturday against ISIS group.
According to Anadolu Agency (AA) counter-terrorism forces in the province arrested the suspects who were trying to get into Turkish provinces bordering Syria passing through kahramanmaras province.
The suspects were transferred to the security directorate the agency said adding that after they have been terminated they referred to the Court which decided to arrest them for further investigation on charges of belonging to ISIS.
On the other hand a Turkish soldier was killed in clashes between security forces and the militants of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Turkey's southeastern city of Diyarbakir according to a statement issued by the Turkish Chief of Staff.
The statement added that the security forces killed four PKK members during the clashes. (QNA)
