UAE- FNC Speaker meets Belarusian Ambassador to discuss cooperation

ABU DHABI 31st January 2016 (WAM) -- Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC) has met with Roman Golovchenko Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the UAE to discuss ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various fields especially in parliamentary affairs.

During the meeting Dr. Amal Al Qubaisi highlighted the strong friendly relations between the UAE and Belarus which is witnessing a major growth and development at all levels stressing the keenness of both governments to develop them in various areas including in the political cultural investment tourism and technological fields.

Dr. Al Qubaisi also pointed to the importance of establishing close parliamentary relations to keep pace with the development of political ties between the two countries.

Al Qubaisi said "We have learned from our wise leadership led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to work for a better future for our country and for future generations through a clear vision and plans strategies and objectives adopted to achieve growth and development in various fields. This vision places emphasis on building close cooperative relations with various countries in the world in order to achieve prosperity for the people of the UAE and the peoples of the region."
