(MENAFN) Tehran and Moscow have inked a huge deal, consisting of giving Iran a USD8 billion loan under collaborate schemes with Russian firms.

Additionally, in spite of the fragile cooperation between the two nations in terms of political issues, both seek to achieve stronger and deeper economic ties.

Accordingly, the trade between Russia and Iran could touch USD10 billion annually in the short-term, as opposed to only USD1.6 billion in the previous year.

Furthermore, both nations agree that they're going to need time before they can announce huge collaborative projects especially in the oil and gas sphere.
